چکیده
The objective of this paper is the computation Airy stress function a two-layer composite beam with interlayer slip. For calculation upper and lower layer functions an iterative solution procedure from Boley-Tolins adapted, which was originally introduced for isotropic single beams under plane assumptions. Considering continuity equations interface stress, vertical deflection linear law between slip shear Boley-Tolins’ method may be extended to derive ordinary differential equation order depends on number iterations desired accuracy, ranging elementary, second more refined, fourth Finally derived models are compared by considering thick simply-supported subjected sinusoidal transverse load. results approaches two-dimensional assumptions two limit cases: perfectly bonded without bonding. It found that refined higher model almost coincides elasticity solution, even very beams, whereas elementary only yields accurate thin beam.

Vibration Analysis of Thick Functionally Graded Beam under Axial Load Based on Two-Dimensional Elasticity Theory and Generalized Differential Quadrature
In this paper, vibration analysis of thick functionally graded beam with simply supported boundary condition under constant axial load is studied. The beam has a uniform cross-sectional area and the mechanical properties of the fungtionally graded beam are assumed to be vary through the thickness of the beam. Fundamental relations, the equilibrium and stability equations based on the displaceme...
متن کاملOn two-dimensional Cayley graphs
A subset W of the vertices of a graph G is a resolving set for G when for each pair of distinct vertices u,v in V (G) there exists w in W such that d(u,w)≠d(v,w). The cardinality of a minimum resolving set for G is the metric dimension of G. This concept has applications in many diverse areas including network discovery, robot navigation, image processing, combinatorial search and optimization....

Loading conditions and complex geometry have led the cylinder heads to become the most challenging parts of diesel engines. One of the most important durability problems in diesel engines is due to the cracks valves bridge area. The purpose of this study is a thermo-mechanical analysis of cylinder heads of diesel engines using a two-layer viscoplasticity model. In this article, mechanical p...
